Maternity Photoshoot: Thomas Family Awaits Their New Addition

What a beautiful couple! I'm not just saying this because she's my sister and he's my brother-in-law. I mean, look at this gorgeous couple! The life that is growing inside of her has her truly glowing from the inside out. Ever since I can remember Tyshawn has expressed his desire to be a father. He is over the moon about becoming a daddy!  You should see him look at Shaunte' with admiration and excitement in his eyes as he takes in the fact that there is life growing inside of his wife. You should hear him talk about the funny things that he witnesses about Shaunte' now that she is becoming a mother. Like her impatience, her protectiveness, her insatiable hunger, etc. He told us a story the other day about her taking a towel, wrapping it around the broom, and banging on the ceiling because the neighbors above them sounded like they were having dance lessons late at night. He laughed telling us how that wasn't the end of it, and that she stormed upstairs and banged on their apartment door! We all laughed! Especially me, picturing her with her growing belly, standing on the bed, banging on the ceiling with a broom. I love it!

She says that becoming pregnant has taught her faith and patience. Becoming pregnant is one of her greatest memories of 2015. I love watching her sit on my couch rubbing her belly. I don't even mind when she constantly asks me, "Can you get me some water?" "Can you put this away for me?" Can you hand me the...?" I remember all the times she teased my about my waddling and how protective I was. I couldn't wait until she became pregnant so that she would understand and so that I could give her a taste of her own medicine.  I also smile, because I remember how she was their for me during my pregnancy and after. Her and Tyshawn are both always there for us. I'm looking forward to paying it forward for all the things they have done for us and so much more!
