With Love From the Bayou...Louisiana Golden Hour: Brandi Worley
Brandi Worley is a talented writer. She is the author of "Crumb Snatchers," a children's book based in the South. It's about a young girl's struggle to gain acceptance as she navigates her way through life in a new environment. This was Brandi's first book published in 2009. "Crumb Snatchers" Part II will be released soon. Presently, Brandi is working on Corey Haynes' autobiography; a project that she is very excited about. Look her up to learn more about her, and while you are at it, grab a copy of her book.
I had a great time photographing Brandi. She was a bit shy at first, but with a little encouragement she opened right up. The colors she chose to wear for this shoot photographed so well. I love it! The blue flower added such a unique touch! Her photos are a great example of why the golden hour is the best time to shoot--look at the golden glow the light gives her skin. So when a photographer suggests the "golden hour," trust them and roll with it! You won't regret it. I promise! Her photographs also exemplify the pay off of a little extra effort when putting together attire for your photo session. I hope you enjoyed the photos from Brandi's session.
